I found rural Wales to be a place in which teams truly exist, in every sense of the word. Not just the teams playing on the pitch but the teams who make up the whole community, who work together to achieve great things and create a social hub. In these teams there are no social barriers or personal ambitions.

I was welcomed into the clubs and communities with open arms, the generosity and warmth I felt was overwhelming, and the clubs certainly know how to show you a good time after a match.

At the grass roots level there is a lot of passion not only for the game but also for life.
